Director of Research
Michael serves as the Director of Research for RBO & Co., focusing on fundamental security analysis, portfolio management and client service.
Michael has 20 years of experience in the equity markets. For over a decade he worked at Driehaus Capital Management in Chicago, a highly regarded investment management firm managing several billion dollars across several mutual funds. As a Senior Equity Research Analyst, he covered companies, met with management teams, and initiated stock selections of both domestic and international companies. Following his time at Driehaus, he continued his love of research and joined a large investment advisor team at Northwestern Mutual in Omaha, NE, where he helped clients meet financial goals by building tailored portfolios.
Michael is a graduate of Miami University, where he received a degree in finance, and holds a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from DePaul University. A native of the Philadelphia area, he now resides in St. Helena where he spends his spare time exploring the Napa Valley and continuing his wine education.
